It's not only children who grow. Parents do too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours. I can't tell my children to reach for the sun. All I can do is reach for it, myself.

A good friend of Sheri's sent this to her after a warm-hearted lunch discussion as something to remember as we navigate our busy lives. Though everything may not always be exactly as we would have it, we continue to try to give Ellena the best examples we can to learn and grow by.
